Opened in 2022, Golden Ace Hardware is a branch store for the Erwin family who have owned and operated Green Mountain Ace Hardware in the Western Denver suburb of Lakewood for three generations. Nearby Golden is a picturesque town nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It is also home to the Coors Brewery and the Colorado School of Mines. The town has been without a locally-owned hardware store for several years until Golden Ace became a reality.

Established in 2012, Ace Hardware on The Fax is a locally owned hardware store, located in a “recycled” 1947 building on East ColFax Ave, one block west of Quebec in Denver, Colorado. Known locally as “Ace on the Fax” and “Denver Outdoor Power” the store is a destination for outdoor power equipment sales and service from brands like STIHL, Honda, Toro and Craftsman.
